Homemade low fat granola bar recipe

I recently attended a cooking class in South Florida called the Naked Bite. Chef Amber made this granola that was like WHOA. And it was the beginning of my love affair with coconut oil.

This granola rocked my world.

before and after granola-2

The first time I made this granola, I cooked it for about 30 minutes. I like my granola crunchy so I tend to go almost an hour now. But however you prefer it, its definitely going to taste great.

You can substitute some of the ingredients; if you don’t like almonds, use walnuts. Or macadamia nuts.

My only problem is I can’t just eat one bar. Usually I scarf 2. This granola is so good you’ll have to be careful you don’t eat it all at once.
